Simone Schofield’s early work covers a range of mediums and themes ranging from nature to sensitive topics such as grief and loss.

In her recent work, she sculpts, paints and casts with vibrant, mouth-watering colour, combining Minimalist and Pop Art traditions, to address the social issue of the excessive consumption of sugar. The smooth tactile surfaces offer an accessible and unconfrontational means to increase awareness and encourage discussion of this serious risk to health.
